Design
The CB1000 Hornet features a sharp and aggressive design, with a muscular fuel tank, chiseled bodywork, and a single-sided swingarm. The front end is dominated by a large LED headlight, flanked by two smaller LED turn signals. The tail section is short and stubby, with a small LED taillight and integrated turn signals.
The Hornet is available in three colors: Graphite Black, Candy Red, and Pearl White.
Engine and Performance
The CB1000 Hornet is powered by a 999cc inline-four engine, which is derived from the CBR1000RR. The engine has been tuned for a more linear power delivery, making it easier to ride in everyday situations. It also produces less emissions than the CBR1000RR, thanks to a new catalytic converter and exhaust system.Honda has not yet released any official performance figures for the CB1000 Hornet, but it's expected to produce around 160 horsepower.
Electronics
The CB1000 Hornet comes packed with a variety of electronic rider aids, including:- Traction control: The traction control system helps to prevent the rear wheel from spinning, especially under hard acceleration or in slippery conditions.
- Wheelie control: The wheelie control system helps to prevent the front wheel from lifting off the ground, especially under hard acceleration.

The CB1000 Hornet also features a 5-inch TFT instrument display, which provides the rider with all the necessary information, including speed, gear position, RPM, and fuel level. The display also features a variety of ride modes, which allow the rider to customize the bike's performance to their liking.
Handling
The CB1000 Hornet features a lightweight aluminum frame and a Showa suspension system. The front suspension is adjustable for preload, rebound, and compression, while the rear suspension is adjustable for preload and rebound.The Hornet also features a 17-inch front wheel and a 16-inch rear wheel, both of which are shod with Bridgestone Battlax Hypersport S22 tires.
Brakes
The CB1000 Hornet features Nissin radial-mount calipers and 330mm floating front discs. The rear brake is a single Nissin caliper with a 240mm disc.The Hornet also features ABS as standard equipment.
Pricing and Availability
